Do You Smell Something in the Air?

We are about to embark on holiday season starting off with Thanksgiving stuffing our faces with Turkey and Dressing. And then there’s Christmas in which we celebrate the birth of our Savior, New Year’s Day, and Valentine’s Day.

Did you know that while these are major celebratory events, this is also “The Engagement Season”? Studies show that 40-70% of new engagements happen during this timeframe.

So why do couples tend to get engaged during this time? Maybe because it’s the season for giving and this could not be a more perfect time to shower someone with diamonds. Or, maybe because it’s the one time of the year when families travel from far and near to be close to one another; many grooms often want others close to the couple to share in their joyous occasion.

Whatever your reason may be, let me say Congratulations on your engagement!!!

Now the planning starts. You will want to start researching event planners and book someone immediately. A planner will save you time, money and help make the planning process seamless. (What better reason to have a planner?)

In our upcoming posts we will share with you some tips on how to proceed with your planning. It will surely get your mind on the right track and help you prioritize.
